Mr. Johansing has over 40 years of experience as a mining and mineral exploration geologist. His career began in Colorado in 1976 where he worked as Senior Mine Geologist for the Sherman Mine (silver; Day Mines) and ASARCO Exploration in Leadville, Colorado. Following the completion of his M.Sc. in Economic Geology at Colorado State University, he worked as an exploration consultant out of Leadville, Colorado until 1992. From 1990 to 1993, he consulted for Kennecott Corp. in Central Colorado and Northern Mexico with a focus on the exploration of Carbonate-Hosted Massive Sulfide Deposits (CHMSD). In 1993, he joined Mirage Resource Corp. in the start-up of the El Dorado project (epithermal gold) in El Salvador and worked as Project Manager until 2002. From 2002 to 2015, Mr. Johansing worked as a consultant in exploration and mining projects in Central and South America. This period included the identification of several high-quality precious-metal projects, the development and sale of an exploration project portfolio, project/corporate management and applied research. He remains involved in projects throughout Latin America and the U.S. and provides a broad array of skills needed in the successful management of a natural resource company.
Dr. Franklin has over 40 years experience as a geologist. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Since January 1998, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Queen's University, since 2001, at Laurentian University and since 2006 at the University of Ottawa. He is a past President of the Geological Association of Canada and of the Society of Economic Geologists. He retired as Chief Geoscientist, Earth Sciences Sector, at the Geological Survey of Canada in 1998. Since that time, he has been a consulting geologist and is currently a director of Ur-Energy Inc and Nuinsco Resources Ltd.
Mr. Boberg is a director of Ur-Energy Inc. and served as Ur-Energy's President and CEO from 2006 to July 2011. Prior to his involvement with Ur-Energy, Mr. Boberg was a consulting geologist having over 35 years experience investigating, assessing and developing a wide variety of mineral resources in a broad variety of geologic environments in western North America, South America and Africa. Companies that Mr. Boberg has worked for include Gulf Minerals, Hecla Mining, Anaconda, Continental Oil Minerals Department, Wold Nuclear, Kennecott, Western Mining, Canyon Resources and Africa Mineral Resource Specialists. Mr. Boberg has over twenty years experience exploring for uranium in the continental US. He discovered the Moore Ranch Uranium Deposit, the Ruby Ranch Uranium Deposit as well as several smaller deposits in Wyoming's Powder River Basin. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Montana State University and his Master's Degree in Geology from the University of Colorado. He is a registered Wyoming Professional Geologist and fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists. He is a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc., American Institute of Professional Geologists (for which he is a certified geologist), the Denver Regional Exploration Society and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary
Mr. McNeice acts as a financial consultant to emerging private and publicly traded junior mining companies. From 1990 to 2003, he provided public accounting services with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he specialized in servicing private and public technology and life science companies. Mr. McNeice is both a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois). He is also Chief Financial Officer of Carube Resources Inc., a TSX Venture listed company. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. McNeice was Chief Financial Officer of Ur-Energy Inc., a TSX listed uranium exploration and development company.
Mr. Pitman has over 45 years experience as an exploration geologist. From 1969 to 1983 he worked for three major mining companies - Gulf Minerals, Union Miniere of Belgium and BP Resources Canada on a number of commodities including gold and silver. Since 1983 he has acted as a geological consultant to over 70 clients, providing a full range of services (geological, corporate, and administrative). He was a former director, officer (vice president) and/or president of several junior resource companies: Boreal Agrominerals Inc., Nuinsco Resources, Phoenix Matachewan, Patrician Diamonds, Pueblo Minerals Inc., Red Ore Gold, Ur-Energy, Aura Silver Resources, Coniagas Resources and Olivut Resources. Mr. Pitman is a registered professional geologist in Ontario.
Patrick Toth, P.Geo. is an exploration geologist with over 20 years of experience in precious, base metal and diamond exploration. Mr. Toth has specialized in epithermal gold-silver (high and low sulphidation) systems and has worked for several junior mining companies throughout the Americas. Patrick has managed and implemented multi-million dollar mineral exploration programs from the high Arctic to southern Argentina. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Toth has a broad range of experience from the evaluation of early stage exploration programs leading to deposit discovery, through post-discovery exploration and mineral resource development, to mine site exploration to expand and replace reserves. The scope of his work has also included oversight of geological and technical activities, QA/QC programs and NI43-101 compliance. Mr. Toth is a member of APGO and SEG and holds a B.Sc. degree in Geology from Brock University in Ontario, Canada.
